HI I'm Darren. I provide manual driving lessons in Hinckley and Burbage areas of Leicestershire and I am passionate about road safety.
I decided to train as a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I have over 14 years experience as an advanced driver in the police and over 15 years experience working in education. This role of a driving instructor has enabled me to combine all of this experience and expertise into one role. I am very calm and relaxed, which is an important skill when teaching someone to drive.
I have decided to use the LDC system, which uses the latest coaching techniques, and delivers all the skills required to become a safe, competent and confident driver.
My experience in education has given me the tools required to adapt and be flexible, as everyone will learn differently in different situations. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and productive as possible. The LDC system helps me to do this in an effective manner.
